Concealed horizontal dry sprinklers Model DH56, designed for use in preaction systems and areas exposed to freezing temperatures such as cold rooms and other areas of the building that are not heated. Also intended to provide fire protection in long, narrow spaces such as corridors, terraces and rooms up to 28ft (8.5m) wide and 10ft (3m) long.

For this reason, sprinklers of the Model DH56, have a special wax cord placed in the gap between the cup that houses the bulb and the box where the installation key acts. This wax does not interfere with the main operation of the sprayer, and prevents contaminants from entering the inner part of the nozzle, therefore said wax should not be removed.
